I joined Play North in March 2023 when I got a job as a Customer Support Agent. This opportunity opened to me after a period where I wasn’t sure about my future plans. It has now been a year, and I’ve had a chance to prove myself and grow to be a highly valued agent. And not looking back! Over the past year, in addition to the usual customer support tasks, I have been focusing on contacting our players personally. One of my responsibilities is ensuring our website and e.g. responsible gaming limits run as desired for our players. I’m happy to say that in a corporation that holds responsibility and compliance so important, I am on the front line of our company. Our company consists of incredibly friendly individuals from every corner of the world, each with their own unique skills. It’s wonderful to see and realise that people can create something really special by working together! Newcomers are always welcomed with open arms, and there is room and time to grow within the company. The positive mindset that exists in the workplace motivates one to work harder. In my position, where we work in shifts, there are certain days that I work remotely from home. If you were to ask me what is the best thing about Play North as an employer, I would not be able to give you a straight answer to this. It’s a combination of many different things that make this company so great. Our office in Malta is 5 meters from the beach, where you can cool off after a sunny working day with beautiful views of the capital Valletta. Don’t feel like swimming?
